This piece was hugely inspired by Aidan Carberry’s trio work that utilized a huge lamp in their work. I was curious about the use of lights, and how that can be reflected through my quick movements. After buying over 15+ flashlights, this investigation brought much importance to simplicity yet effectiveness. I am thankful for my dancers who were a part: Ande Godwin, America Sanchez, Allyson Feltner, Jennifer Vieweg, Jimena Casasola, Sarah Laskowski, Nia Kester, Cienna Hintz, and Jessica Escobar.
